Nintendo just announced a butt-load of new games on the Nintendo 3DS Direct website and there is a lot of fantastic titles to be expected on the Nintendo 3DS that will make any Nintendo fanboy drool and seizure with excitement.
A new Legend of Zelda game set in the world of A Link to the Past, (considered by many to be the best Legend of Zelda game, originally on the Super NES in 1992). As of now there aren’t any screenshots but a video will be made available on the Nintendo eShop. The game is schedules to launch in the end of 2013.
A new Yoshi’s Island game has also been announced, and will make use of the Nintendo 3DS’ capabilities. If it’s anything like the Nintendo DS version (incredibly difficulty but fun) then I’m all good and ready for it.
A new Mario & Luigi title (the RPG series that is) named Mario & Luigi: Dream Team Bros. which will take place in a mysterious island in which Mario will have to travel from dream world (dreamt by Luigi) and the real world to rescue– you guessed it– Princess Peach. This will be available in stores and for digital download on the Nintendo eShop on July 12th 2013.
Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D port makes its way to the Nintendo 3DS. Donkey Kong Returns originally made it’s way on the Nintendo Wii, which feels like decades ago, and didn’t do as well as one expected. Although the game itself was solid, it was also frustrating and filled with cheap-deaths, just like the good ole’ days! Anyways Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D is a mouthful but it also adds 8 new stages after the main game along wit hnew items and mechanics. The game is launches in stores and for digital download on the Nintendo eShop on May 24th 2013.
