After a delay, a lot of hype and a slew of trailers in the last few weeks it’s finally here. GTA V graced the consoles on September 17 and gaming world as we know it may never be the same. It’s hard for me to talk about GTA V, mostly because the more I spend talking about it the more time it takes away from me actually playing it. And that’s a terrible thought, because I can’t stand the thought of anything taking away time from me playing GTA V.

Welcome to GTA week, or otherwise known as “forget all of your social obligations and just play GTA V week.” Either way, what a time to be alive. As you may have noticed, we often post our reviews close to a week later than major publications. There is plethora of reasons for that (mainly time though). So, instead, this week I am going to tear myself away from GTA V briefly each day to post a series related article to tickle your fancy (and hopefully only fancy). At the end of each article you will find the preview for what’s to come tomorrow. Which I saying you will get to influence that list.

GTA games are simply massive. The worlds of other open world games would normally drown in the real estate Rockstar works with. Similarly, there is always a lot to do, a lot to see and a hell of a lot of missions to breeze through. All of the missions are also bookended by wonderfully written dialogue and set up. Within the massive world of over 50 missions per game, it is difficult to make one thing stand out, but Rockstar can consistently accomplish that. So without much delay, here are our top 10 most memorable GTA missions:

Obviously… SPOILERS!

Oh September, by the time it’s hit you already have an idea of how it will bleed your wallet dry. Yet, you prefer to lie to yourself about how it will not. Well, keep on lying kiddo, keep on lying. In all seriousness though, September is when the hard spending hits. It’s just long enough removed from the Steam Summer Sale, but not just in the scope of all of the AAA releases. Whoever sneaks in here is the winner by default, default of giving you the sign of what’s to come. September 2013 looks interesting.

Long time no see my dear readers (if I have any dear readers, otherwise, who cares). I was sitting in my room bored out of my head I realized that I haven’t really written anything since my DmC review. I’ve actually been more focused on my sports website than this, and then I realized – this sucks. For the most part, between school and everything I don’t have much time to write. Even more so I haven’t been writing about games unless it’s review time. Even though I complain loudly about games almost every day. So, this weekly little thing journalists usually call columns should be my outlet for all things gaming. Short (no more than 2 paragraphs per topic), sweet and just raw angry!

Among a few announcements revealed today we also have one for ourselves. I am working on a new logo to better present this little endeavor of mine for the future installments. Still no news on when the logo will make it’s way onto the article, but it’s soon. Trust me… I’m a doctor. In all seriousness though, we get two solid release dates for two games you should be excited about, a couple of big name trailers hitting the net as well as some financial stuff you probably don’t really care about anyways but we’ll still tell you. All of this and more happened today in gaming. Continue reading »

I guess these are getting later and later aren’t they. Ironically, no, I am not writing from the west coast, because that would be the only thing that makes sense I guess. I’ll just ease myself with the fact that a lot of gamer folk doesn’t hit the hay until the late late night. To break up the monotony we mention some Facebook game news (trust me, facebook games are big… for non gamers), another major Elder Scrolls announcement, and a Saint’s Row the Third Expansion (about damn time). Plus, a little something special for those who read until the bitter end.

Only a week in and we’re already renaming the column to reflect the contents just a little bit more. Well, today was actually quite an eventful day after a somewhat mellow Monday. To do a quick preview of what you’ll find: trailers, trailers, a few more trailers, and a bit more news about what’s to come.
