As the console generation winds down everyone is anticipating the new technology to hit the market, it’s easy to forget that there are still games coming out now. With The Last of Us, Naughty Dog delivers one last hurrah for the PS3. A step away from the Uncharted series, the Last of Us deals with more serious themes and address some of the problems with the Nathan Drake saga (there weren’t too many problems to begin with). Is The Last of Us a worthy sending off to Sony’s current generation console?

The internet is in upheaval and Sony is already crowned as the winner of E3, only one day into the conference. Did Jack Tretton deliver the final blow to the Microsoft console empire last night? It may not have been the final one, but it was certainly the most significant one yet in the console war of the next generation. And then, Sony proceeded to do a victory lap with Microsoft’s golden goose of yesteryear, Bungie.
Remember these words? ” FIVE HUNDRED AND NINETY-NINE US DOLLARS?” If not then watch this video. That’s a clip from when Sony first announced their price tag for the PlayStation 3. The PlayStation 4 on the other hand will cost $399 and will be out this holiday season. No specific date as of yet.
