You know what’s missing in the world of gaming? Some classic third-person shoot em’ up, you know the kind, the one where your brain is off and you shoot a lot of bad guys, this is the case with God Mode.
Originally released in 1991, Toejam and Earl were the original Hip-Hopping, funky-aliens. A sort of underwhelming game back in the day gets re-released on Xbox live arcade, not just one but two games, ToeJam & Earl and Toejam & Earl in Panic on Funkotron. With some changes made and the re-release on XBLA is it as good as you remember or does this collection deserve to phone home?
This week on the ParaNerds Podcast, the nerds speak about Batman:Arkham City, Arkham City Lockdown and Minecraft. They also go over NEWS (see below) and read some fan mail. If you grew up in the 80s, late 80s or early 90s you might recall a little underrated game known as Choplifter for either the Atari or the Sega Master. I remember both, so I was thrilled to hear earlier last year that there was an HD remake being released on XBLA, well it’s now released but does it save lives or is this chopper out of fuel before takeoff.
