TopTenVideoGameCrossovers

You know what we love? Crossovers. Either in movies, TV Shows or comics it doesn’t matter, as long as we see a characters that’s not supposed to be in a universe make a cameo or appearance we get all giddy inside. I think that’s why we loved The Avengers, knowing all those characters from different movies share the same universe is awesome. The Simpsons will crossover with Family Guy this coming Sunday and that’s the first time in a long time I’m looking forward to a new Family Guy episode. Video games are no strangers to this either as there have been a number of crossover titles. Characters showing up in other games or even just easter eggs or cameos, it’s fun to see them let alone have a game based on the concept of a crossover. There have been a lot of these games. Some we’ve never heard of. But regardless here are the Top Ten Video Game Crossovers.

Young Kevin “The Destroyer”

I’m 26. 27? 26? I forget. I was born in 1987 so I’m assuming 26, you do the math. That’s not the point. The point is I recently have been saving to buy myself a PlayStation 4 (over an Xbox One because Fanboy OMG FTW!!!) and have been struggling with that. Mostly because as a semi-adult I’ve come to conclusion that rent and food is a little more important than a PlayStation 4 (especially since I want one for a demo…P.T.). But I wasn’t always this worrisome because as a kid I would break all my games and consoles and a new one would show up. Why? Because I was a little shit. A horrible feminine-fat-little shit. You think the kids on Xbox Live are bad, let me tell you how much of a little shit I was.

Telltale is at it again with yet another “point-your-own-adventure” game this time based on the comic series Fables created by Bill Willingham. A world involving fairy tales, myths, urban legends and any other public domain stories put into a noir setting. I’ve never read or even knew the existence of such comics or stories and you don’t really have to as the series takes place decades before the events of the Fables comics. Taking everything Telltale has learned up to this point and using it towards a comic that may not be as popular as The Walking Dead. Does Telltale Games succeed yet again?
